It was my first concert back in 20 Years. I was afraid to return to work without protection. I wore a proverbial cloak, used my musical fantasy writer pen name, and came through the back door.

I had to make sure I was surrounded by safe people who genuinely loved me - who were willing to stand up for me and my right to work in my industry again.

I felt that if I could just find my first group of true fans - old and new friends of my work and music - people who cared enough about me to get me started… that, together, we would create a way for me to return to my career in commercial recording and touring - somehow.

I wasn’t sure where to start, or if anyone cared. I decided to find out. I called my friend Adam Saunders and asked if he’d host my first concert back at the old Road House on St. Joseph Street. He was inspired to host and the rest is ourstory.
